Good irrigation water is vital for growers.
However, the quality of the irrigation water may sometimes be less than ideal. To ensure the availability of good irrigation water, InFa Techniek has developed several water treatment devices, namely:
AquaNano Reverse osmose
AquaNano is used for removing sodium, silicon, boron, and other elements.
Feno Iron Removal System
The Feno iron removal system is used to remove the elements iron and manganese from welll water.
Aqua Softener
An Aqua Softener is used for removing the elements magnesium and calcium from well water or tap water (descaling).
Novira
The Novira LD UV sanitizer ensures reliable disinfection of drainage water and/or rainwater.
AquaNano Reverse osmose
WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
The AquaNano is used to remove sodium, silicon, boron, or other elements that are present in too high a concentration in the water.

The AquaNano is used to remove sodium, silicon, boron, or other elements that are present in too high a concentration in the water.
The product water that the AquaNano produces is comparable in quality to rainwater since all elements have been removed from the source water. These elements are discharged with the so-called ‘brine’ water. The percentage of brine is on average 40% of the extracted well water.
A requirement for sizing the AquaNano is that a water analysis is available.
Based on the available water analysis, it can be determined whether it is possible to produce good irrigation water using the AquaNano. If this is the case, the system can be sized based on the analysis.
With the AquaNano, it’s possible to produce good and affordable irrigation water.

Feno Iron Removal System
WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
The Feno Iron Removal System is used to remove the elements iron and manganese from well water.

- Requires minimal flush water;
- Option to further reduce the amount of flush water;
- Backwashing with iron-free well water;
- Low energy costs;

The Feno Iron Removal System is an open system, meaning it not only aerates the water but also degasses it, which is very important for obtaining good irrigation water.
The operating principle of the Feno Iron Removal System has been refined over the years, resulting in a reliable system with very little maintenance. The treatment vessels and their internal components are made of durable plastic material to ensure a very long service life. The Feno Iron Removal System can remove very high iron contents from well water. By designing the system in two stages, we can remove even higher iron concentrations from well water.
The Feno Iron Removal System is modularly constructed, allowing the capacity of an existing system to be increased. Additionally, due to its modular design, we can offer systems with a small to very high capacity.

Aqua Softener
WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
The Aqua Softener is used to remove the elements magnesium and calcium from well water or tap water (descaling).
Features of the Aqua Softener:
- Equipped with process control;
- Touchscreen operation with visual process display and potential remote control;
- Most effective method to prevent lime scale;
- Regeneration based on volume with delay time;
- Fully automated process;
- Minimal maintenance.
The water softener consists of one or more sealed resin tanks filled with cation resin. The elements magnesium and calcium are bound to the cation resin. When the cation resin is saturated with magnesium and calcium, the resin tank is automatically rinsed with a salt solution. This process is called regeneration.
During regeneration, no well or tap water can be descaled.
Aqua Softeners are available in different capacities and designs. For situations where continuous descaling is needed, we offer dual configurations.

Novira
WATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT
The Novira LD UV sanitizer ensures reliable disinfection of drain water and/or rainwater.
Features of the Novira LD UV sanitizer:
- Equipped with process control;
- Touchscreen operation with visual process display and potential remote control;
- Highly effective output of the UV lamp;
- Effective disinfection even at lower water transmittance values;
- No change in the composition of the water to be disinfected;
- No acidification of the water to be disinfected;
- Low energy costs;
- Minimal fouling of the quartz tubes;
- Very long lifespan of the UV lamps;
- Very long lifespan of the starters;
- Very high reliability;
- Minimal maintenance;
- Modular design with expansion options.
The Novira LD UV sanitizer mainly produces UVC light at a wavelength of 254 nm, effectively killing bacteria, fungi, and viruses with a minimal amount of energy. This doesn’t change the chemical composition of the water, so the content of the various elements and the ratio between them remains constant.
During its disinfecting operation, no acid or other substances are dosed. For cleaning the quartz tubes, periodic cleaning with a minimal amount of nitric acid is carried out.
