For this purpose, InFa Techniek a number of watering units, including:
The AquaMix substrate unit operates with a mixing tank for precise EC and pH control, as well as efficient degassing.
The Aquamix SP substrate unit also operates with a mixing tank for precise EC and pH control, as well as efficient degassing.
At businesses, like test stations and seed multiplication companies, they often work with different formulas.
For companies that work with a formula with a corresponding EC and pH, which requires little adjustment, the AquaMix Substrate Regulation is a highly usable unit.
Features of the AquaMix Substrate Unit:
The A/B solutions are drawn from the A/B fertilizer tanks by a mixing/dosing pump and dosed into the mixing tank through a valve block. The same applies to the acid or alkali solution. At the same time, the mixing tank is filled with a mixture of fresh water (rainwater, R.O. water, well water, or tap water) and possibly drain water. The nutrient water with the correct formula, the right EC, and the appropriate pH is then filtered and pumped to the greenhouse or to the nutrient water silo.

Features of the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit:
The individual liquid fertilizers are directly drawn from the storage containers with liquid fertilizers by a mixing/dosing pump according to a recipe set on the PLC. Each individual fertilizer is then dosed into the mixing tank through electric valves and flow sensors.
The desired formulas are entered into the PLC of the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit. The EC and pH control still occurs via the process computer (e.g., Hoogendoorn), where the process computer for the EC control and the pH control sends a higher or lower adjustment respectively to the PLC on the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit. The individually dosed fertilizers in the mixing tank are measured and recorded on the PLC of the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit.
If the grower dissolves the used solid fertilizers individually in separate storage bins, the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit can draw the liquefied fertilizers from these storage containers. In this way, the AquaMix SP Substrate Unit can also be used if the grower does not have liquid fertilizers. This allows the grower the ability to quickly switch between different recipes with a fairly simple installation. Moreover, the grower retains control over the amount of fertilizers that are dosed. In Zambia and Kenya, we have already commissioned several of these installations.

Features of the AquaMix Substrate Control:
Moreover, the water supply per department is very limited, but with a very precise fertilizer dosing, which is why conventional units cannot be used. For this specific market, Infa Techniek has developed an AquaFill SP Batch unit.
The AquaFill SP Batch unit also uses a mixing tank for precise EC and pH control and for good degassing. The individual liquid fertilizers are directly drawn from the storage tanks containing liquid fertilizers by a mixing/dosing pump according to a recipe set on the PLC. Each individual fertilizer is then dosed into the mixing tank through a centrally located flow sensor. At the same time, the mixing tank is filled with a mixture of fresh water (rainwater, R.O. water, spring water, or tap water) and possibly drain water. The AquaFill SP Batch unit prepares a batch ranging from 300 liters up to 10,000 liters in the mixing tank. Subsequently, the batch is transferred to one or more nutrient water silos.
The desired recipes, along with their corresponding EC and pH values, are entered on the PLC of the AutoFill SP Batch unit. The EC and pH adjustments are made via the PLC on the AutoFill SP Batch unit.
This batch unit can therefore operate stand-alone without the help of the climate computer. The individually dosed fertilizers in the mixing tank are measured and recorded on the PLC of the AutoFill SP Batch unit.

Features of the AquaMix Substrate Regulation:
The AquaMix Substrate Regulation operates with a nutrient water silo as a mixing tank. The nutrient water silo ensures proper degassing and precise EC and pH control.
The A/B solutions are drawn from the A/B fertilizer bins by a mixing/dosing pump and dosed into the nutrient water silo via a valve block. The same applies to the acid or alkali solution. At the same time, the nutrient water silo is filled with a mixture of fresh water (rainwater, R.O. water, spring water, or tap water) and, if necessary, drain water. The nutrient water with the correct recipe, the right EC, and the right pH is then pumped to the greenhouse using a drip pump and a filter.
